In a study on the Cool Touch laser, every participant showed at least a 40% improvement in the appearance of their scars.

The procedure for a treatment from a Coolbreeze Cool Touch laser is a simple, completely painless procedure with almost no recovery time. The patient lies in the treatment chair and the practitioner brings the laser wand  over to the treatment area. Then the practitioner makes a series of passes over the area, controlling the depth and intensity of the light exposure based on both the number of passes and the strength of the infrared beam. For best results, we recommend a minimum of of 4-6 treatments completed within approximately 2 week intervals. Keeping the downtime between treatments at around two weeks encourages maximum collagen growth without overstimulating the treatment areas.

After your treatment your skin may be slightly pink, however that usually resolves itself in 24 hours or less. There is no recovery time and no need to avoid makeup or exercise, although there may be a slight sting in the treatment area from acidic products or perspiration. Prior to treatment avoid usage of any Retin-As, Retinols, exfoliants, and clarisonic brushes for a minimum of 3 days before and 3 days after. The laser can be used virtually anywhere including back, chest, neck, hands and more.

Laser treatments have become a staple of modern aesthetics practices because they are fast, simple, safe, and they provide consistent results. Unlike with chemical, or injection based treatments, laser treatments don't have to cause physical trauma to induce rejuvenation. Instead, laser treatments use light and heat to stimulate the bodies own natural healing and physical processes.

The Coolbreeze Cool Touch laser functions primarily as a collagen stimulator. It works by heating the deeper layers of skin with an infrared laser, which causes collagen growth in the treatment area. Unlike injectables which fade with time, the collagen grown from a laser treatment remains in the treatment area. The technology was originally developed to treat fine lines and wrinkles but proved so successful at growing collagen that it was found to work on scars and acne as well.

The Coolbreeze is a versatile laser that can be used to treat the reduction of acne, acne scars, pore size, fine lines and wrinkles. The same gentle heating which causes collagen growth also causes large pores to shrink, and reduces overactive oil production. Both processes leave the skin looking smoother, with less acne, and with a more youthful, healthy appearance.
